Mr. Anders Björkman

Mr. Björkman is currently CEO of Argnor Wireless Ventures AB, one of Argo Global Capital's portfolio companies that invests in Nordic companies that develop wireless products and services. He is an accomplished executive with 15 years of experience managing businesses in the wireless, telecommunications and Internet sectors in Scandinavia and Europe. With a background in engineering, Mr. Björkman has had exposure to most aspects of the wireless value chain. He has worked for a major equipment supplier in network product development, been involved in designing, building and operating one of the first GSM networks, helped grow a start-up consulting business, negotiated and executed a number of merger and acquisition transactions and sat on the boards of entrepreneurial companies across Europe and in the USA. Prior to Argnor, he was most recently President and CEO of Société Européenne de Communication (SEC), a company that had been publicly listed in Sweden, New York (Nasdaq) and Frankfurt prior to its sale to Netcom AB (changed name to Tele2 AB) in August 2000. Tele2 AB is a leading alternative pan-European provider of telecommunications and related services including national and international long distance telephony mobile service provision, public pay telephones, internet services, portals and large call centers. Previously, Mr. Björkman, was President and CEO of Netcom AB, a publicly listed, leading and profitable Scandinavian alternative telecom company involved in fixed and mobile telephony services, as well as data and internet services in the region. He holds an M.Sc.EE from the Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenberg, Sweden. His current board memberships include Teligent AB, a public company in Sweden and the Argnor companies which consist of Birdstep Technology ASA, Digital Route, General Wireless, Hotsip and Mediabricks AB.
